Thursday, February 23, 2023 | 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. CT

La Quinta by Wyndham

7115 Coastal Palms Boulevard
Panama City Beach, FL, 32408

Join Red Hat for a Red Hat Tech Day, as we discuss how to transform IT in a disconnected environment. During the day's activities, we will talk through the simple ways to build, reuse, and scale your automation for both Linux and Windows systems. We will also discuss key technology trends such as containerization, microservice architecture, CI/CD pipelines, hybrid cloud deployments  and how containers help enable DevSecOps. Here you’ll learn about the best practices for containerizing C++ applications on RHEL 8, the capability for VMs and containers to coexist on one platform, and Red Hat platforms that are designed for the edge.

    • Getting Started with OpenShift Serverless - use this self-paced tutorial to learn the basics of OpenShift Serverless, a development model that removes the overhead of server provisioning and maintenance from the developer.
    • Manage your containers - Understand how container images are built, tagged, organized, and leveraged to deliver software in a range of use cases
    • Understand container orchestration: learn how to automate and manage tasks such as: Provisioning & deployment, configuration & scheduling, resource allocation, container availability, load balancing / traffic routing, monitoring container health, keeping interactions between containers secure, etc.
    • Gain a stronger understanding of how container images are built, tagged, organized, and leveraged to deliver software in a range of use cases
    • OpenShift for Developers - use the OpenShift Container Platform to build and deploy applications using both containers and orchestration
  • RHEL 8
    • Build an application into a container image using RHEL Container Tools
    • Configure your firewall with RHEL Firewall System Role
    • Enforce more complex ciphers, protocol versions, and usable ciphers across all services running on your machines.
